The dead bug that I had to scrub out in the jewelry box...just nasty. There's still an indent from it.The jewelry box is very sturdy. The top gridded insert however starts to easily lift up when trying to take out any earring. I wish it was more snug in there. I'm not sure if it's worth the price considering I've seen other jewelry boxes that have more slots and a necklace holder.

I ended up having to add more sections for containing rings. I rolled felt pieces into a cylinder and used hot glue to secure them to create more space for ring storage. The room was there in the box to accommodate my additions. Overall, the box looks quite nice and I’m happy with the purchase in general.

I know this sounds weird, but the drawer handles are so thin and smooth that you can't grip them to open the drawers! I think the designer chose fancy looks over ease of use. I had to return unfortunately.

So, this is actually well constructed & sturdy BUT the door pulls are so narrow & slippery (they're a shiny metal or coated plastic of some sort), that they are impossible to grab onto to pull the drawers out. I had to MacGyver them by wrapping them in rubber bands. Also, I don't know why they'd want to rate this for travel. Anything in that top glass case would move all over & you'd have a mess of jewelry. Plus, nothing locks, so unless this is packed tightly in a suit case, you'd risk the top & drawers opening up. Got this as a gift. I really like the style. The handles on the drawers are difficult to grasp to pull them open though. If you have large hands, arthritis or poor fine motor skills I would not recommend purchasing this jewelry box. Other than that I’m happy with it.

Love the look. But the individual drawer height was too low for my wide bracelets.. And the handles are nonsense. They are smooth and slope to a point in the middle so there's no way to really grip them. So I had to use my nails to get the drawer open.

It was purchased as a gift for a loved one and wanted it to be special along with everything but feel as if this small imperfection although it’s small, still affects the overall presentation of the gift. Regardless I would recommend if this flaw wasn’t on others as well.
